Extensions and renovations to the Coober Pedy Hospital. The renovations included:
- Facilities for Doctors and the Public Health Nurse
- Dentist
- Hospital administration
- Casualty extensions
Original Dentist Chair and equipment now on display in the Old Timers Mine
During the building of the Hospital renovations a new Nurses’ accommodation was erected. The Nurses’ Home supported accommodation for additional nursing staff but as previously mentioned provided overnight accommodation for the RFDS Doctor and pilot.
