In February 2015, the Coober Pedy Hospital & Health Services celebrated its 50th Anniversary of providing localised Medical Services to Coober Pedy and the surrounding areas. Country Health SA Local Health Network (CHSALHN) Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Maree Geraghty and Mrs. Jenny Gough (long term resident and retired Enrolled Nurse) cut the birthday cake to celebrate the occasion.
