In recognition for 20 years of dedicated ambulance service.  The SA Ambulance Coober Pedy Subbranch awarded Mrs. Konnie Rowe an Appreciation Certificate for her contribution and tireless efforts as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer (1978–1998).

Mr. Peter Rowe remembered his wife Konnie receiving an award in the International Year of Volunteers for her many years of dedicated service and contribution to the Coober Pedy community and for her dedication and involvement in the Coober Pedy Hospital Auxiliary.

Another award Mr. Peter Rowe remembers his wife Konnie receiving was when she was recognised by the National Health & Medical Research Council for her fundraising efforts and contributions for the Coober Pedy Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Konnie Rowe continued to be recognized for her ongoing dedication and services to the SA Ambulance Services in Coober Pedy.

Konnie also received the National Medal for Service as another tribute for the many years of dedication and service she provided within the community of Coober Pedy as a volunteer.
